In a 1:1 session, we will walk through your act line-by-line. I’ll tell you which jokes to fix, how to fix them, and which ones to cut. Then we’ll go through the premises you’re working on and turn them into new jokes. I will also provide performance notes (on things like stage movement, delivery, timing, attitude and mic use) based on my 40+ years of writing, watching, and performing stand-up comedy.

$50/hr or five sessions for $200.

In a small group workshop, we will do much of what is described in the 1:1 sessions, with the added benefit of hearing from other comedians about what is and isn’t working for them. I am also available for topical sessions, e.g. stage presence, delivery, and mic use.
